My flight has landed in Boston. And with that, I end an incredible semester in California. Thanks to the ICLA program for allowing me to have such a great opportunity, and to everyone who helped make it so awesome. I’ve made tons of new friends, learned a lot about my industry and life out west, and had some absolutely amazing experiences. I can’t wait to get back out there someday.
This is Jacob (or Jake, if you prefer), signing off from LA…for now.

On my last day before boarding my flight home, I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. My favorite part was definitely petting the stingrays. If you have more time after you visit the aquarium, I’d recommend also checking out the Queen Mary, which sits in the Port of Long Beach nearby.
The Steve’s hosted the annual ICLA Holiday Party at their home in Hollywood. There was a massive turnout from current ICLA students, including tons of alumni who came to visit for the evening. It was definitely a fun night, and something to look forward to at the end of the fall semester.
We checked out the space shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center. The shuttle is enormous, and was really awesome to see in person. The science center itself, along with the IMAX theater nearby, are definitely worth a visit.
